![]() ![]() My first lab isn’t until I’ve been on hormones for 5 months. But there’s also a members only portal that can connect you to other trans people using Folx and they have support groups and everything. They also charge extra for the patches, gel, or the injections but pills are included in the price. They have 2 different “plans” one is if you’re just starting your transition(like I am) or they have the “maintenance” plan I’ve you’ve been on hormones over a year. I’m getting both testosterone blockers and estrogen through them. ![]() And now I’m waiting for my hormones to get here. I had my meeting on the 22nd of September 2022 and it went so well my person I met with was so nice. Did I make the wrong decision? Has anyone else gone through Folx and how was it? I just wanted something I could just get sent to my house and sign for and this seemed like the best option. (I just eventually gave up it's why I'm trying after a year to get back on T) Making excuses to call my doctor to "make sure" it's the right dose. I was going to planned parenthood for T but my local pharmacy is super transphobic so I'd have to constantly wait weeks for my next prescription cuz they held it up as much as they could. I've an appointment coming up with them and everywhere I read on Reddit it seems like people only have complaints. But god is it like a big weight off my shoulders now that I know the whole process and don't have to deal with pharmacies and found a good lab to get my blood work done at.) Some people's experience might be different and I am extremely privileged to be able to afford going through Folx. I'm already getting my little mustache too Folx has actually been the best thing to happen to my mental well being. The lady who drew my blood was the nicest and it only took me like 10 minutes in and out. It was the best experience I've had going through medical stuff. (Edit 2: came back to say I've been on T 2 months now and had my first quest labs appointment just a few days ago. By this time next week I'll be back on T!!!! ) (Edit: I had my appointment it was really easy and the person I met with was super nice and seemed genuinely excited and on the same page as me.
